Defining Who You Are.

 

I find it fascinating to share my way of thinking as many thought I was so stuck up or had a stick up my "area".

Is it because of the way you behave inside of working hours, for me I think so.

If you're in positions of authority it goes without saying that one cannot display all eccentricities in view of all. You would be looked at as material unworthy of such a position/positions. It's culture for if there were no standards the world and those in it wouldn't be taken so seriously.

Alas I hit the high road and broke free!

Going "Crazy!".

So today was one of those days where you've been running around but feel like you got nothing done. Some would say 'you're so lucky to work from home' and to a degree yeah I am. It's when you get side tracked of everything else that needs to get done or your pets need your attention. I suppose it's pretty close to my working days "outside" as my memories take me to exactly how I feel now. Ahhh .......

Keeping the shit real I popped on some 'Crazy' and went about it all anyway. 

Not wearing anything else on my face other than lippy suits me on days where I'm not intending to leave the house for anything. The wigs I wear because I adore them and the larger than life glasses just reiterate who I am lol. In some weird sense it gets me motivated and for Queen, in character!

The Queen Returns!

Hello fellow Queens!

I've decided to re open my Blog as to tell you the truth I have actually missed it.

Not only have I lapsed in creating but also my focus.

Given everything that happens in life and with the pandemic I feel this is a great outlet to get away from it all. Kind of "our" own space, you and me.

Looking over at all the wonderful people in the world that has viewed this blog made me realise that "we" love to explore the realms of what is not particularly normal.

Quirky, out there, thoughts and ideas is who we cuddle to make us feel unique and I in fact love that.

So here I am and look forward to sharing just about anything to liven up your/our day.

Self isolation way before Covid-19!

I'm influenced by the non ordinary. I crave "out there" creativity.
A lot doesn't need to make sense. It just happens.
If I like it I am coming back around again to what makes me happy.
My head was a mess because I was trying to please too many people despite what my own vision was for Queen. Don't get me wrong what I do is also for others. Not a lot of sense there in that sentence I know. I was interrupted by scattered thoughts which railed my own authenticity. I was viewed as "crazy" and all the other yar de dars of any misfortunate not to understand. C'mon who creates a business called queen of the madhouse and bases it on normality??? I have to undress and shed, brave the unknown ..... and once again just get on with it and if it seems to be tasteless in the eyes of those that judge without the education of what the intricacies of the mind can do ........ Meh! Meh! Meh! ... 

Queen has always been about great quality makeup AND out there MADNESS .............. and NOT!!!!! bland adventures. I like to tell stories. Stories of where one's imagination can go. Is there really anything wrong with that? Writing this I feel completely happy, not down and solemn for which I have been quite a lot. I felt caged, angry for being expressionless. My potty mouth emphasised it! I was changing. I didn't like it. This is who I am. I am to embrace my individuality. The worst that can happen is that you/those will read/watch some very unusual antics of a 50 year old outrageous woman!

Hello and Welcome!

Currently, we (the world) are facing the devastating consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic. So many people have lost their lives and many more are fighting it. This horrible disease has infected and affected us all in some way. Many are pushed far beyond to help try and control it. Thank you to the medical personnel or emergency services and to those that are doing what has been recommended ie: staying at home.
